Breaking: Duke Freshman PG Frank Jackson announced today that he will remain in the 2017 NBA Draft. Jackson leaving Duke leaves the door open for Trevon Duval, the number 1 overall point guard in the class of 2017. Duval has cut his list down to five schools: Duke, Kansas, Seton Hall, Baylor and Arizona.

The Blue Devils only return guards Grayson Allen and Walk-On Brennan Besser. Allen and Besser, along with 5 Star SG signee Gary Trent Jr, 4 Star SG signee Alex O’Connell and 3 Star PG signee Jordan Goldwire make up the potential guard rotation for Coach K.

Duke has only 9 scholarship players currently on their roster, and are looking to add two more players before the start of next year. Duval would be a huge get for Coach K and Duke in their hopes of once again challenging for a National Championship.

Duke also has offers out to 5 Star C Mohammad Bamba, 4 Star PG Tremont Waters, and 4 Star SF Jordan Tucker.
